Based in our Zurich office, Simone Riedel Riley is the Controller of Emerald Technology Ventures and is responsible for the administration and closings of the funds as well as the controlling for all legal entities of the Emerald group. Besides this, Simone is in charge of the accounting and reporting of Emerald Technology Ventures and provides the management with reports and statistics. Also, she supports the CFO in tax and legal issues and acts as contact person for external service providers. Simone joined Emerald in 2010.
Prior to joining Emerald, she was a CFO for a Swiss textiles and real estate company and was acting as board member and project manager for a waste water plant manufacturer. Simone also worked as engagement manager for Helbling Corporate Finance, a Swiss based consulting firm, for several years.
Simone holds an MBA with a major in finance from the University of Zurich. She studied at Harvard University and Indiana University in the USA and is a CFA charterholder. Simone is fluent in German, English and French.
